I am trying to find information about the family of Edith Eleanor Morris, born in 1886, the daughter of Henry and Ellen Morris. Edith married my dad's cousin, Frederick Arthur Hollins in 1913, at St Wilfred's Church, and they later emigrated to America. Edith's family lived in Weston Grove, Northenden and her father Henry was a groundsman at a local golf course. Edith had two sisters, Matilda and Nellie, and a brother William. I know son Frederick also born Winsford became a watchmaker. I think Charles had a sister called Priscilla, but can't find any information on his parents.

The Coopers came from Buckinghamshire originally, including Frederick and his wife Esther Elizabeth (nee Newbery). I'm after information on their children, who were Florence (b1882 Northampton), Frederick (b1884 Northwich), Harry (b1886 Northwich), Herbert (b1888 Northwich), Annie (b1890 Northwich) and Ernest (b1894 Northwich). Frederick(1884) was my gt grandfather, but little is known of his brother and sisters except Ernest who died in WW1. Any help appreciated. Also looking for any Hollands, particularly for the family of Annie Holland (my gt grandmother)- may have had a brother called Christopher who was a CofE Vicar. Norbury Family Owned Norbury Brewery in Northwich - Northwich
I'm looking for information about John Norbury born late 1700's who in 1828 had a brewery in Witton Street, Northwich. He had a son John Norbury who also was a brewer and who married Elizabeth Hulse in 1839. They had a son, also John Norbury born 1840 whose first marriage was to Elizabeth Edgerley from Weaverham. They had a son James Norbury. Elizabeth died in 1867 and John then married Caroline Hastings from Warwickshire. The Norbury family then moved to Warrington and then to Shotton. Any info on the Norbury family who came from Witton, Weaverham would be appreciated, particularly to do with the Brewery, but any info would help. Many thanks.

I am researching my g grandfather Christopher Clutterbuck born in Northwich, Cheshire abt 1885. He married Annie Rebecca Wyvill at the St Thomas parish church in April 1906. Family later lived in Openshaw by 1913 and Droylesden by 1936. Any family connections would be of interest to me. Christopher had siblings: Amy b 1889; Caroline b 1879; Daisy b 1892; Maggie b 1883; Henry b 1881. Christopher's parents were Henry Clutterbuck b 1855 and Margaret Evans born 1853 in Liverpool.

Arthur Edward Leigh - Northwich
Arthur Leigh born 1877 arrived in Northwich area around 1900. He first married Minnie Gatley of Stanley St in 1903. Gave his job as a grocer and father as George Henry, a postmaster. Minnie died in 1908 leaving one daughter, Manon Gatley leigh born1906. Arthur remarried Frances Jane Sands in 1912 and had 2 sons, trevor and Gordon. At the time of the second marriage he gave his job as insurance salesman and his father as a landscape gardener( now deceased) We know the family lived in 8,Park Avenue, Chorlton cum Hardy in 1915 when Arthur worked at Ford at Trafford Park. All attempts to discover his background have failed. He died in 1922. Does anyone have any recollection of an Arthur who turned up out of the blue at that time? His younger son, Gordon is still living and is curious about the father he never knew.

She was widowed and eventually moved to Hulme, Manchester where she married my GG/F Edward Blundell in October 1908. They had a daughter, Annie, in 1909 who married Cecil Shaw in 1927. My 2xGreat Grandfather John Rogerson was appointed Assistant Excise Officer in 1803 in Northwich. He was subsequently promoted to Rotherham and then to South Shields finally ending up in Richmond, Yorkshire where he died in 1833. He left a wife Mary (nee Young) two sons, John and William aged 13 and 11 years respectively and a daughter Frances aged 9.
