Looking for any info on Arthur Rowland, born about 1899, and living with grandparents Frederick (b.abt 1849) & Mary Rowland (nee Gibson b. 1851) in Churton by Aldford, as shown in the 1901 Census Records. I am trying to find out who Arthurs parents were, but even though I have extensibly searched the BMD Records, I cannot find a Birth Record for him.

Harry Barker of Mablins Lane
- Coppenhall
Just let me say for those who may not know that there were two COPPENHALLS in Cheshire - 'Monks Coppenhall' and 'Church Coppenhall'- both were absorbed into Crewe.
Henry ('Harry') Barker married Eliza Handley and they lived at 23 Mablins lane, Coppenhall. They had 5 children - Ethel, Evelyn, Annie, Alice and Hilda Mary. Harry was illegitimate and his mother Emma Barker - so family legend has it - was made pregnant by someone at the farm where she was 'in service'. Emma eventually married James Barnes who, my mother used to say, 'took Harry in and brought him up as if he were his own.' Any links?
