Looking for information on the Wright family in Disley. It looks like all from there are related. Benjamin Wright (1805)(my 4x Great Grandad) married Martha (born Mellor, 1806) and they had John (1826 3x Great Grandad), Sarah (1830), William (1830), Edwin (1832), Joseph (1835), Jennatte (1838). John Wright (1826, 3x Great Grandad) married Mary A (born Mellor, 1829) and they had Benjamin (1855) Ellen Ann (1857), Janetta (1860), John William (1860, my 2x Great Grandad), Martha E(1862), James (1864), Joseph (1867), Herbert (1871). John William Wright married Jane Whalley and they had Mary(1882), Annie (1884), Janetta(1886), Lizzie(1888). When Jane died he married Sarah and they had John (1895, my Great Grandad), Robert(1898), William(1900). All were children and fathers were born in Disley. Looking for info on my GGG Grandad, Samuel Higginbottom born New Mills 1832c. He married Sarah and went to live in Kent, Rhode Island, USA which is where there children were born. Thomas 1860, Robert 1862c, Mary 1865c, Priscilla 1867 and Sarah Jane (my GG Gran) born 1871. They returned to UK and went to live in Disley, 1881 census. Any information concerning the DODD and DONE families who farmed " Burton Hall" Rossett and "Dodleston Hall" Dodleston between 1750 and 1861 would be appreciated. William Done DODD, wife Emma and children left the farm after 1861. I have lost them until the 1881 census where Emma appears as a widow with her sons William Henry and Francis in London. There were also two daughters Frances and Emma. Would any kind person be able to find this family on the 1871 census in Wales or Cheshire. Thank you

Hello, I am looking for relatives or info about my gfather, Benjamin Gibbons, who emigrated to the US between 1880-1900. He left his father Thomas, mother Ann, Brothers William, James, Elias, and sisters Sara and Emma. They lived in Heaton Norris, Dukenfield, Stockport, which from the maps available in the Internet seem to be all in the same area of the UK.
