Looking for any descendents of John and Charlotte Lee of Waterside in ELY Cambs.parents Royal and Jane. The family were there from 1841 to 1901 although their children went to other counties. Caroline marr a William LEE in Ely, Sarah, stayed in Cambs, Charlotte in London.William London(my grandad). Ruth London?. Martin, Joseph - Ely
Hi..I'm looking for any information regarding my paternal grandfather Joseph Martin, born 1871 in Ely, Cambridgeshire. The 1881 census as him as 10 years old and worked as a Cotton Operative. His father, being Charles Martin(b.1826) and mother Elizabeth(nee?)1828. Siblings, Elizabeth b.1856, James b.1862, Benjamin b.1864, grandad(b as above) and Sarah, also born 1871. Charles Martin(according to the census) was an agricultural labourer(farm labourer) I would like to know who Charles's family was. I can't seem to get past the 1881 census. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi...I'm looking for the parents and other members of Sarah Houghton's family. She was born in Ely,Cambridgeshire in c1874 married Joseph Martin(nicknamed Jocum, to differenciate between father and son) 1894 in Ely, Cambridgeshire. These were my paternal grandparents. Both moved to Hull, E.Yorkshire around 1900-1905. My father, also called Joseph, was born 10/09/1907 in Hull and had two sisters, Elsie and Mary. I am looking for information regarding the Robert Elijah Stinton family. Robert Elijah married Mary Ann Cooper 14 Oct 1813 in Isleham Cambridge. They had 11 children. Mr. Stinton passed 13 Apr 1856 in Isleham and Mary Ann passed 24 Dec 1892 in Ely. one of their children, William Stinton went on to wed Hannah Audus in 1844 in England. They then went to America were Hannah passed on. He them married Hannah Mansel of Donnington Wood Shropshire in Iowa, USA in 1864. I would love to have any info about this family that you would like to share.

Seeking info on Oxburgh family, Emneth. Morris Oxburgh appears in Birr, Ireland c.1620. Subsequent relation was Hewar Oxburgh, Boveen, Ireland, who died at Aughrim 1691, and sons Henry, Hewar jnr, John and James Oxburgh. Henry executed as Jacobite atTyburn 1716. His son James served in Spanish army until c.1760.

Reynolds Family - Fen Drayton
My 3 x great grandparents Thomas and Hannah (nee Offley) Reynolds lived at Johnson Street, Fen Drayton at the time of the 1841 census. Thomas was born in Fen Drayton in 1764, and although he was about 77 years old he was described as an Errand Man! His parents were William and Ann Reynolds, also of Fen Drayton. I would be very interested to hear from anybody connected with this family.

I have an interest in the PARBLES family, especially if anyone can help me with Robert PARBLES b.1836 in Welney, Norfolk but later lived in Fen Drayton with the family of Robert and Elizabeth DING. He married local girl Emma Golding in 1858. The 1871 census shows them living at 7 Honey Hill. They had been married 13 years by then but do not seem to have had any children.
