Aves in Burrough Green
- Burrough Green
I am interested in the Aves family who lived in Burrough Green c 1750-1850: they appear to have moved there from Dullingham, and further back the family may have lived in Stechworth and Ashey-cum-Silverley c1650. The Ashley registers I have seen are missing for the civil war period, but the parish is on the edge of Cambs and the family may have moved from Suffolk or another area. There are also branches of the family, who may be related, in Lode and other villages in SE Cambs. Anyone researching this name?

whole in Barnwell:notwithstanding that I and all the heads

commanded the fellow called Beest,a decayed merchant of London
not to roast the ox in this dangerous time to the great peril
of the University and a great multitude of the Queen's
subjects assembled at Sturbridge fair.Which request I did
earnestly make unto Mr Mayor that for his part he should not
