Wanting to find more information on the CLARK(E) family of Soham. Etheldred CLARK was the daughter of Robert and Ann CLARK and was baptised in Soham 9 Sep 1677 and believe she married Richard JACOB in Soham (he was from Brinkley)24 Oct 1707. I have no details on her parents but Robert and Anne possibly had 11 children, 5 of whom died in infancy. They were Robert b 21 Jun 1663, Anne b 3 Jul 1664 d 12 Aug 1664, Jeffry b 21 Oct 1666 d 25 Nov 1666, Elizabeth b Oct 1667 d 12 Nov 1668, Jeffry b 7 Nov 1668 d 12 Nov 1668, Jeffry b Jan 1671, William b 17 Apr 1672, Katherine b 8 Jul 1673, Joseph b Mar 1675, Audrey b 28 May 1676 and Etheldred. Etheldred and Richard had 3 known children, all baptised in Brinkley. They were Richard b 28 Apr 1709, Joseph b 14 Mar 1711 and Theeldre b 17 Mar 1715. Looking for any information about this family. His father was a Farm Bailiff in Stetchworth in the 1850s, as was my Gr gr grandfather, Henry Medcalf. Henry's son, b 1864) was named Noah Fenner Wade Frank Medcalf.
