My Great Great Grandparents Samuel and Ann baxter (nee Edis/Edes)and Father and Mother William and Mary Baxter lived at various addresses (mainly 1, The Fen)in Parson Drove having moved there from Sawtry in Huntingdonshire. From census entries of 1841 onwards it seems Ann may have been married before and had children before marrying Samuel. I can find no marriage record of Samuel and Ann. Can anyone help with this.

HAYNES/HANES/HAINES
- Purls Bridge
I am trying to trace the origins & marriage of John & Alce HANES who baptised a son, John in 1769 in Welney who married Ann HOVEL/HOVELL (born Denver 1767)in Littleport in 1791.
Alce died before 1775 when John, widower, married Mary GOODWIN in Welney.
I have found a reference to a Settlement Examination, Ely & South Witchford Petty Sessions, dated November 1767, of a John HAYNES of Welches Dam, formerly employed in Welney so maybe John was born in Welches Dam but where he was baptised I can't trace.
Can anyone help please?

ASPLIN in Rampton
- Rampton
JOSHUA ASPLIN was born in 1748 and married ELIZABETH WRIGHT in 1759 - she had formerly been married to WILLIAM COATMAN, I understand. I descend from their daughter SARAH ASPLIN, born 1766, who married JOHN STEVENS and lived in Fenstanton. Their daughter MARTHA STEVENS was born about 1806 and married FREDERIC SEE. Their daughter MARTHA was born about 1838 and married ROBERT ARCHIBALD HILL of Clerkenwell. Martha was the last of that line born in that area, the family seems to have moved to London. Martha had brothers HENRY (married an ELIZABETH who had been born in Westminster); FREDERICK born in Kimbolton as she was herself; and CHARLES born about 1841 who was a Witness at her marriage. Any information on any of these lines gratefullyreceived.
