COVINGTON FAMILY. - Litlington
I've seen the long list of Covingtons from Ashwell, Hertfordshire but my ancestors were from the next village, Litlington, Cambridgeshire e.g. James Covington b.1761 & his son James b.1813. Can anyone add any more information about this family, please? Thank you very much.

Angell of Great Eversden - Little Eversden
William Angell was born c. 1823 son of William and Sarah in Haslingfield. He married Isabel McGhee Jan - Mar 1844 in the Caxton Registration area (Volume 14, page 37). In 1851 he was living in Great Eversden with wife and children, Henry Edwin (6), William Thomas (4) and Mary (1). He was a farmer with 97 acres and employed 4 labourers. He does not appear on the 1861 census for Great Eversden.

Rider/ryder Gates - Little Shelford
James and Ann (GATES) RYDER left Little Shelford for Australia in 1854 with children Mary Ann, George and Harriet. James was born in the village in early 1820s while Ann was from Shepreth. I have data on this family from the beginning of the PRs in the village.

Edward Creek, son of John & Jemima married my 2xGreat Grandmother, Callow Chilvers in Ely in 1856. Her marriage cert wrongly states her name as Caroline Chilvers. She was born in Sporle, Norfolk, daughter of Thomas & Bridget Chilvers. She had an illigitimate daughter Harriet Chilvers (or Ponder) born c1852. She had several children by Edward Creek after their marriage. Related by marriage to above submitter.

Hinkin Anderson Hollington - Little Thetford
Looking for connections to Ralph Hinkin born Little Thetford, Haddenham, Cambridgeshire on the 4 September 1848. Mother listed on birth record as Mary Hinkin, but no father is listed. The 1851 census has Ralph Hinkin aged 2 in Speed Lane, (Little) Thetford, Soham with mother Mary Hinkin (formerly a servant born Little Thetford) aged 37 but still no father. By the 1871 census Ralph Hinkin is a visitor with William and Mary Cross in Ely and by 1881 a packer lodging at 6 Bay Street, Hackney. Ralph Hinkin married Jessie Anderson on 8 October 1882 with his father listed as William Hinkin (a Gentleman). By 1901 Ralph and Jessie Hinkin are at 28 Vallentin Road, Walthamstow with four children, one of which was my grandmother, Jessie Henrietta Hinkin (1887-1938).

Edwin Willis, Dean - Littleport
Edwin Ernest WILLIS b. 1870 in Gravesend, Kent, England was a doctor in Littleport, Cambridgshire. The 1900 Kelly's Directory for Cambridgeshire lists him as the Certifying Factory Surgeon, as well as the Medical Officer & Public Vaccinator forthe Littleport area. He was married to Ada DEAN b. 1871 in Rainham, Essex, but in 1881 living in Erith & later Gravesend. Edwin & Ada had at least one son, Dean E, born in Littleport in 1900. I would be interested to hear from anyone who may have any knowledge of this family.

Elizabeth Heeds resided in Catalina Street, Salford before emigrating to New South Wales, Australia. She married Henry Gill of Salford. Henry was born in 1880 so Elizabeth would probably have been born around that time. I am seeking Elizabeth's birth information and information about her parents.

Henry Lovell (Loven) c1744 - Longstanton
I Have the following recorded information about Henry Loven (Lovell). Henry married Rachel Gifford who was born in Longstanton in 1751 and baptised at All Saints, Longstanton in 1753. They had 11 children who where all baptised in Hemingford Grey as Lovewell and married as Lovell. Records relating to Henry's birth or baptism can not be found. Ref: Banns register of Longstanton: Phil Gardner, curate published the banns of marriage on the 24th, 31st May and 7th June 1772. Banns appear to refer to Henry's name as LOVEN although Henry could not write therefore only leaving his mark. A knowing eye can see LOVELL. All Saints, Longstanton Ref: Hemingford Grey Buriel Register (1813-1881): Henry LOVELL was buried on 23/3/1828 aged 84. I once saw in the area a sign saying 'GIFFORD FARM', wondered if anyone knows of it and if Rachel was related? I am searching for Henry Loven (Lovell) baptism or birth or other family information.

Have traced my line back to one James Mote/Moote, born about 1767, married in Manea Nov 20 1798 to Elizabeth Pope. He died in Wisbech Nov 20 1838. No idea where he was born or baptised, doesn't appear in the Parish Registers of Manea. Any connections?

Lookin for any info on my great-grandparents, Jesse Short & Margaret Monohan (born in Ireland) both were born in 1864, Jesse died in 1929. As far as I know they lived at Manea. Crouch family - Manea, Cambs - Manea
I am looking for info on the Crouch family in Manea, Cambs. My grandmother was born Phyllis Crouch approx 1916, the youngest of four daughters to Isaiah Crouch and his wife whose name I do not know. Isaiah was the Church Sexton, gravedigger, bellringer and town molecatcher(!!) between 1896 and 1922 approx. I have traced the family back the early to mid 1700's but any info would be gratefully received.
