I am looking for info on the Crouch family in Manea, Cambs. My grandmother was born Phyllis Crouch approx 1916, the youngest of four daughters to Isaiah Crouch and his wife whose name I do not know. Isaiah was the Church Sexton, gravedigger, bellringer and town molecatcher(!!) between 1896 and 1922 approx. I have traced the family back the early to mid 1700's but any info would be gratefully received.

I have a John & Mary Wright (nee Howard) both born in Manea about 1846. I believe they married in N.Witchford in 1870.
They were living in London in 1881 where he was a police constable.

4 children from the Stubbs Family born in Blandford Dorsetshire were moved here, into a New Market Workhouse, and recorded in the 1901 census. They were Florence 4, Mabel 5, Arthur John 7, and Emily Stubbs 8. They left behind George (17) William (4) and Violet (3) Their mother was Julia Stubbs(Foot) a charwoman (B.1863 Father John Foot), And their father was John Stubbs(B.1859) A groom (non domestic) Their grandfather was Joseph Stubbs.Spalding Doncaster.. Any information as to what happened to these children would be greatfully appreciated. Were they moved by the government under the care of Governors Governesses? Adopted? Or unfortunately sent abroad to work in Canada, New Zealand, Australia?

Gordon Williams - Newmarket
Gordon was born in Pontefract in 1925. In about 1940 he went to Newmarket to work as a stable lad at a racing stable and later became head lad. He died in Bury St Edmonds in 1996. Did anyone know him? I would like to know what happened to him when he left Pontefract - did he marry, have children etc?
