Residents in the 1900's - (Ashley - Cambridgeshire)
Looking for any details on Mabel Lillian Lawson nee Chapman and a George Victor Mayes, both living in Ashley in the 1900's. George is named on Mabel's death certificate in 1984 as her nephew. I have yet to make the connection.
Info from 1911 Census. Mabel had an older sister, Eva Maud b. 1894, brother William b. 1902 and sister, Ettie Edith b. 1907. I have found a record of a marriage of Ettie to a Harold Hopkins. I'd be delighted to hear from anyone who mght have connections/information.

Am seeking the baptism details of George Morley who married Lettice HUMFREY in Balsham in 1633. they baptised 10 childen here and were buried here. Also looking for the marriage of their son George (1649-1717) to some-one called Sarah. After their marriage, this couple lived out their lives in Dullingham.

Casbolt of Balsham - (Balsham - Cambridgeshire)
The IGI transcriptions of the Balsham parish records for 1558 - 1876 list 82 christenings and 31 marriages for persons with the surname Casbolt, or variations on the spelling. I believe that I have put most of these into a couple of logical family trees, although, of course, it is possible that my guesses are incorrect. If anyone is interested in this information, please contact me. I am interested in any other information that anyone has for Casbolts in Balsham.

The line then descends through DANIEL ANSELL who married ANN CHALESE, WILLIAM who married MARTHA CHURCHMAN, and JAMES ANSELL who moved into London around 1860 and married EMILY GOWMAN. I have traced my family back to John Allen,born in 1710.Several generations lived there,and I believe still do. I am trying to establish if Richman Allen b.1816 was related to me. I think he ran the local pub at one time. If anyone has any information about any Allens I would be very interested.

On 19 Jun 1828 when John Matthews was 23, he married Margaret SPARROW Mrs., daughter of Robert SPARROW & Tabitha JOHNSON, in Chesterton, England. Born on 4 Jan 1805 in Chesterton, England. Margaret died in Barrington, Cambridge, England. on 27 Oct 1890; she was 85.

Barrington Cambridge, Allen Family - (Barrington - Cambridgeshire)
Looking for information on parents of Robert Allen and Mary Christmas, who were born around 1805 in Barrington, and married there in 1829. They had one child only, Robert Owen Allen born 1830 in Barrington, and eventually moved to Victoria Australia, in the Clunes district.
According to Robert the elder's Death cert, they were John Allen (builder) and Mary Newlyn, but that is all I have I'm afraid. I have a bit about the Aussie family from there on, and am happy to share what I have.

I am looking for information on the marriage of Catherine Wenham to James Deller/Dellar. James was born about 1910-1811 as he was baptised on Aug 1811. Catherine was born abt 1816. Catherine and James were married in Arrington, on Nov 17, 1834.They immigrated to Canada, where they died. Catherine is the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hall Wenham. I would be interested to hear from anyone with a connection to the Ingrey Family from Bassingbourn and Royston.I am related to Stephen Ingrey 1818 who married Caroline Bryant b.1823 Ashwell Herts.They had 7 children including Rebecca 1853. She married Jesse Scrase b. 1857.

Tryphena Oakman 1895-1925 - (Bassingbourn - Cambridgeshire)
I found the registration of the death of Tryphena Oakman at Bassingbourn - 1925 Royston Apr May Jun Volume 3a p.669. She died on 23rd May and was buried on 27th. She was 30 when she died. I wondered if she was related to my family. We have a Frederick Oakman (b1861) who married Elizabeth Street (b1868) and a William Oakman (1874-1923) who married Emily Street (1877-1957). They lived in the Epping, Essex area.
