Looking for any details on Mabel Lillian Lawson nee Chapman and a George Victor Mayes, both living in Ashley in the 1900's. George is named on Mabel's death certificate in 1984 as her nephew. I have yet to make the connection.
Info from 1911 Census. Mabel had an older sister, Eva Maud b. 1894, brother William b. 1902 and sister, Ettie Edith b. 1907. I have found a record of a marriage of Ettie to a Harold Hopkins. I'd be delighted to hear from anyone who mght have connections/information.

The IGI transcriptions of the Balsham parish records for 1558 - 1876 list 82 christenings and 31 marriages for persons with the surname Casbolt, or variations on the spelling. I believe that I have put most of these into a couple of logical family trees, although, of course, it is possible that my guesses are incorrect. They had the following children:

Barrington Cambridge, Allen Family

Looking for information on parents of Robert Allen and Mary Christmas, who were born around 1805 in Barrington, and married there in 1829. They had one child only, Robert Owen Allen born 1830 in Barrington, and eventually moved to Victoria Australia, in the Clunes district.
According to Robert the elder's Death cert, they were John Allen (builder) and Mary Newlyn, but that is all I have I'm afraid. I have a bit about the Aussie family from there on, and am happy to share what I have.

Gregory Ivette NEWMAN was born 1805 in Bourn to James NEWMAN and Elizabeth Clark. James NEWMAN was also born here in 1775 as was his father John NEWMAN in 1741. Gregory married in Bourn 1831 to Esther Bullen born 1810 at Wimpole Cambridgshire. There had to have been family from these NEWMAN men and I am trying to make connection with descendents.
