William Field possibly born Buckinghamshire
- Chilton
Hi,
I am looking for information for a friend of mine as follows:-
William Field married Sarah Smith in 1767 in Chilton Buckingham, England.
I am particularly interested in when and where he was born, and judging by when he got married I assume he could have been born c. 1745 and this could have been in Chilton, Ickford, Shabbington or out of the area completely.
If anyone has any ideas, I would be delighted to hear from you.
Regards,
Alan.

George Wright and family
- Cholesbury
My gt. grandfather George Wright was born to William the miller of Hastoe, Tring about 1836 - no baptism found. He married Elizabeth Bishop at New Mill Chapel, Tring in 1859. She was born in Cholesbury where her father was Innholder of the Queens Head. They had five sons and four daughters. All the sons emigrated - two to Canada and three to the USA. All the daughters remained in England but moved away from the Tring area. A family story has it that at one time George worked as a coachman for the Rothschild's at Tring Park, but I have not been able to confirm this yet. I have proved that he owned the White Lion at Aston Clinton in 1891. Any information welcome.

JOHN PAGE & FAMILY OF COLESHILL
- Coleshill
I am searching for any information on John Page and his family of Coleshill. They farmed in Coleshill from the late 1700s. His children were born there between, 1793 and 1812. Out of seven children only one James remained in Coleshill. In the 1851 census James is living on Coleshill Green and has 40 steers. In the 1861 census, James moves to Stockley Farm in Barracks Road, Coleshill and is still running cattle. In the 1871 Stockley Farm is called Pages Farm. It is still in Barracks Road. Can anyone enlighten me about the father John Page who was born in 1749 and died in 1863. I think he is buried in St Mary's in Amersham. Any assistance would be appreciated. Regards Ann
