Looking for info on William 'Coiner' Varney. He was held in Buckingham Gaol in Feb 1884 but escaped. He was re-captured and stood trial for making false moneys.
Does anyone know who he is? Who his family were or where he came from? There are a few Varney families in the area and i'd love to know who's he was.

Henry Poole (parents William Poole and Sarah Bradjea - probably should be Bradshaw) married Elizabeth Davies (father John) approx 1871 in Manchester. Migrated to Australia and had 4 children - John, Sarah, Martha and Henry. Henry senior died in Dalby, Australia on 2/6/1882.

Only birth record for this name says 1847 which does not tally with her age on marriage cert, 1881 census or grave. No record of her in thisarea in the 1851 census, nor of the possible 'other' Jane born in 1847. Jane married John Joseph Woodward in 1878. Can anyone help?
