Looking for info on William 'Coiner' Varney. He was held in Buckingham Gaol in Feb 1884 but escaped. He was re-captured and stood trial for making false moneys. Does anyone know who he is? Only birth record for this name says 1847 which does not tally with her age on marriage cert, 1881 census or grave.
