Thipthap of Little Woolstone

Looking for the baptism of Ann Thipthap in or around Little Woolstone circa the 1680s. She married Thomas Goss May 21st, 1711 and their eldest children were baptised there. I have been searching for her baptism and family for nearly thirty years now with no luck. One problem being Thipthap could be spelt so many different ways.

Recent visit to Woughton with Australian links of Purcell family confirmed the strong links that exist with this family i.e marriages at the Church and gravestone in Church yard. Also name of Earnest on War memorial.Mention of a "knocker Purcell made to one of the Aussie visitors.My memories are with the Aunts and Uncles who I visited in Loughton. Talbot inn was the local used.Any more evidence of this family much appreciated.

Does anyone have info on John Mason born circa 1769 Hughenden and who married Anne Slaughter in 1794. Anne would have been born about 1773 and was christened 6/2/1774 at High Wycombe. They had a daughter, Mary, who was christened 1803 at Great Missenden. Mary married Robert Bowdrey who was born 1796 at Radnage in Bucks.
John and Anne were my 4XG Grandparents.

AVERY, John Abel

Seeking information on John Abel Avery, born High Wycombe, C.1800-1802. He was convicted in the Old Bailey 14 Sep 1821 & was transported to Australia on the 'Asia 2' on 4 April 1822. His death certificate shows him as being an orphan & no parents were shown on the certificate, however, his Batism Record shows his parents as William Avery & Frances unknown. Did John Avery have any siblings? What were his parents occupations? Were they employed or did they have their own business? Where did they live? How did they die? A lot of questions that I would like, if possible, to have some answers if anyone can help, I would be very grateful.

Henry was a country butcher & later a farmer. Their son Henry Francis b. 11 January 1809 Ravenstone, Buckinghamshire, England d: 7 February 1885 Reidsdale, NSW Burial: 9 February 1885 Braidwood Cemetery, plot 976, Braidwood, NSW & Reidsdale Cemetery, Reidsdale, NSW.
Henry francis received a death sentence 1/3/1830 for housebreaking from Norfolk easter Assizes, Aylesbury. Sentence commuted to transportation for life. Moved to Leviathon hulk 13/4/1830. Arrived Sydney aboard ‘Royal Admiral’ 8/11/1830 & immediately assigned to Dr. Reid ‘Inverary’ Bungonia.. Height was 5 ft 3.5 ins. Brown hair, hazel eyes, ruddy complexion, scar on forehead, tattoos forearms. Eldest in family & could read & write. He married Catherine BARRY b: 1816 Cork, Ireland. married: 12 December 1836 Bungonia Courthouse, NSW d: 7 January 1898 367 Liverpool St, Sydney, NSW. Their daughter Catherine M HIGGINS b: 13 December 1841 Reidsdale, NSW d: 30 August 1914 Petersham, NSW
married Karl KARTZMANN (b: 1826 Coblin, Prussia) married: 28 March 1859 St Bedes R/C, Braidwood, NSW d: 18 April 1892 375 Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst, NSW Burial: Rookwood Cemmetery, Lidcombe, NSW
One of their children was Gertrude Ann Kartzmann who was my great grandmother.
I believe there are records of the Higgins families going back to 1600s however I cannot find anything pre 1784. Any information re any of these folk would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
