Andrews, Rebecca born c.1811 - Taplow
I know precious little of Rebecca! The 1851 census for Wooburn Green states she was born in Taplow and now aged 40. She's the head of the family, an unmarried needlewoman. She has a son, Richard (Andrews Stannett) aged 11. Richard's birth certificate gives father as Richard Stannett. Rebecca Andrews and Richard Stannett were not married. That's all I know - any info much welcome.

Hi - I am seeking info on Hezekiah Foote, born at Thornborough about 1748/9, who died 1848, and his family. He married Hannah Liney born C1782 (daughter of Thomas Linny & Mary Dillon). Is anyone else researching the Harris or Bayliss family, from Tingewick Buckingham? My main interest is in tracing any descendants from BENJAMIN HARRIS wife SUSANNA BAYLISS married in Tingewick 1804. Their daughter Benedicta, baptised 1814, was my gt gt grandmother, she married William Copeland in Derby. Benjamin was a soldier with the 14th Regiment of Foot and spent 16 years in the East Indies, I have obtained his army record & would love to know if any of their children were born in the East Indies, Benedicta was baptised in Tingewick, Buckingham, did she have any siblings???

Looking for leads to help me find the parents / siblings of Joseph Chapman born Towersey in c.1805. Marriage to Fanny Pratt in Beckley, Oxon in 1828 and children, Mary, Eliza, John, Ann, Elizabeth. He died pre 1851 census and is not present in the family home (Towersey) with Fanny and children. Lots of other Chapmans in Towersey, so there have to be some clues somewhere. Youngest daughter Elizabeth married William North, another Towersey man and moved to Aylesbury. John married Hannah Flitney and moved to Stoke Mandeville. I am descended from Eliza. My husband had an older brother called Albert Fitzgerald born in 1927 who sadly died in 1946 They had the same father who was in the army or navy in the Bucks area 1926 to 1929 Jacks mother Robina lived with her mother and stepfather Walter Mills in the Dukes Head Farnham Common Bucks. It was understood that Mr Mills made an arrangement with the Fitgferald family to bring Albert into the Mills family. Jack is now doing a Fitzgerald DNA research project and is looking for a Fitgerald family to try a DNA match with him. Any help will be appreciated.

My Grandmother, Harriet Ann Swabey was born in Cippenham in 1874 and lived in Upton cum Chalvey until post the 1901 census. Harriett married Joseph Albert Allen, also of Upton in 1892. Iam trying to trace the family of Harriet to track back before her birth. I know from her marraige certificate that her fathers name was James Swabey. However, the only families I can trace in the census show a daughter born in 1865, which is too early.

Collins Family - Upton
Thomas and Emma, 1860 - 1907. They had 4 children William, Florence, Henry and Eda. Thomas died at age 36. William joined the RAMC in 1894 and never returned to live in England. He was sent to Ireland in 1905, where he married, lived and died in 1961 at age 88. I am his grand daughter (62). Is anyone else researching them. I'd love to know why Thomas died so young.
