Pearces of Lee Common Buckinghamshire
- Lee Common
I am currently compiling a history of ALL Pearces/Pierces who come from this area. I have access to parish records St John the Baptist(BM&D)Lee Common, and census records. I am descended from John Pearce 1774, via many 'Georges' and have returned to the area to live. Surprisingly, there are still Pearces living in the village, and the graveyard is full of them. I think Timothy and Joseph Pearce appear in more than one or two places, as do Israel, Isaac and even Abimelech--- they have ended up all over the world, including Australia, South Africa and America, and most of the early families had at least 10-12 children, all of whom survived, so there are a lot of us out there, sharing our genes without realising it! We must try to correspond.
