Legend has it that Polly's father was Henry Goldswaine, a chairmaker from West Wycombe.He may have married a Mary Trendall from Lane End in1853. There is meant to be a Dutch sea captain somewhere in the family history.

MARY had siblings WALTER born 1874 SKIRMETT, GEORGE 1877 BORN MOOR END ELLEN 1878 & AGNES JANE 1880 DITCHFIELD LANE END. AGNES married a THOMAS WILLIAM GERRING from FARINGDON. His only child, a son was transported to Australia & known as William Collins Burke Jackson.
The elder William owned property in Langley Marish and had waste lands awarded to him. His will was challenged on behalf of his grand daughter Mary Ann Collins Jackson in Australia through the High Court of Chancery in 1840. Can anyone help with furthur information?

Married to a Maria(h) Jordan, she was born 1806 or 7 in Rickmansworth and died 1886 in Watford. They had 8 children and show as living in Sarratt on 1851, 1861 and 1871 census.
