Her mother was LOUISA HOBBS BORN ABOUT 1831 PHEASANTS HILL, HAMBLEDON,who also lived with the Atikins, and had several illegitimate children. LOUISA WAS DAUGHTER RICHARD HOBBS & WIFE MARY FORMERLY MOORE. MARY WENT ON TO MARRY CHARLES MOORE, I wonder if the two Moores families were related? REGARDS VITA

Arthur Hobbs of Hambleden - Hambleden
My grandmother, Elizabeth Hobbs, was born 1897 to ARTHUR and LETISHA(CAKEN)HOBBS in Hambleden. On this family line of mine, I am not able to go past my great-grandparents, Arthur and Letisha. Does anyone have information on this family and possibly their parents? My mother has passed away and all remaining relatives are in Quebec and do not keep in touch. Any help is greatly appreciated. David Higgins - Hambleden
David was born 1861 in Hambleden and died there in 1907. He joined the 48th Regiment of Foot and married Elizabeth, b.1861 India. Between 1880 and 1889 four of their children were born in Ireland, Malta, Newcastle and India.If anyone has Elizabeth's maiden name or any more about David's army career I would very much appreciate it.

FAULKNER - Hambleden
I am looking for my 4x Gt Grandfather - ZACHARIAH FAULKNER. He was born in 1798 in Hambleden (according to census returns) I can't find him in any Parish Records. He married Lydia Gunn in 1829 and had several children all born in Turville/Ibstone, Bucks. He died in 1866 in Turville. But again, he doesn't appear in burial records. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for any information on the Cox (Cock) Families from Hanslope. As they may connect to my family member which I have. The son of Samuel Cox and Susannah Parkes John Cox enlisted in the first New South Wales Army Corps in the 102 Regiment. A Regiment specially formed to go to Australia to help with the convicts. He arrived on the Pitt into Port Jackson in 1792. Any information on the families below would be very much appreciated. Samuel Cox and wife Susannah Parkes married 1762 Hanslope they had seven children. Joseph Cox and Ann Jennings married 1723 Hanslope they had fifteen children. Joseph Cox and Elizabeth Unknown married abt 1691 Hanslope they had nine children. John Cocks and Mary Backous married 1656 Hanslope they had five children. I am trying to trace the family of Thomas Amos born 1827, Married to Ann Garratt in 1848 they had twelve children. One child Edwin Amos born 1866 and his wife Annie had a daughter Frances Lizzie (may have been called Tessa) born 1888 in Hanslope. I am looking for information on Frances Lizzie Amos who married Leslie Albert Dover in 1909. They had three children, Alfred born 1910, Grovenor born 1911 and Barbara born 1912 I would appreciate any information on this family I believe that Leslie Albert Dover and Lizzie Frances seperated in about 1912/13. My 3rd great grandfather, Robert Gibson MILNER was born in London c. 1802 but in 1834 was established here until his death in Jan 1865. He had three children during the early 1830s in Uxbridge. A cabinet maker, married to Ann BALL of Bradenham, he had 13 children and I am descended from William MILNER born 1834. Would be fascinated to make contact with other researchers.

crick family - High Wycombe
My father was born in Bowerdean Road, High Wycombe in 1918. His father's name was James William but I don't have his mother's name. He was one of 7 children - 3 boys and 4 girls. His youngest sister was GI bride and lived in Texas until her death.One other sister died young. Both James and his wife were buried in High Wycombe cemetery but I don't have any dates to work on.
