Griffiths - Crickadarn, Crucadarn
William and Elinor Griffiths were farmers at Gwenddwr they had a son James in 1844 who married twice and had 13 children in total. The 1881 census show his son David then 9 and daughter Eleanor then 7 as born at Crickadarn. This census also shows a daughter Julia aged 13 and Margaret aged 16 as well as wife Margaret aged 38. My grandmother Ruth was the youngest born about 1881 when they had lost the farm and moved to Abercarn, Monmouth. I do not know the names of his first wife or his other 7 children. Margaret was born at Llyswen in 1843 and was i think a Morgan.

Thomas Morgan - Glyntawe
My grandfather was born in Glyntawe and lived in Penwyllt a good deal of his life. I have him in the 1901 census living with his uncle aged 10 but where was he 1901 to 1922 when he was ordained at St Asaph and then in 1922 he was living in Penwyllt.Thomas Morgan's father(Thomas Morgan also) was killed in a quarry accident in 1890 and my grandfather was born one week later. My great grandmother did not bring my gardfather up her name was Rachel Morgan nee Powell and possibly later Jones as Ibelieved she remarried and lived at Gwauniallt Farm Seven Sisters If anyone can shed a light on the above it would be great!
