Family History - Buckland
I am looking for any connections to a Charlotte Lambourne who married Henry Keen (aka George Keen)on 23rd October 1848 in Stanford in the Vale; witnesses were Thomas Keen and Elizabeth Keen. Their daughter Sophia Keen (my g.grandmother) was born in Buckland, Farrringdon, Berks and the birth cert shows mother as Charlotte and father as Henry. On 24th November 1874 Sophia married in Stanford in the Vale to Thomas Goddard and she gave her father's name as George Keen (deceased). Witnesses to Sophia's marriage were Loveden (aka Loveding) Lambourne and Sarah Lockhead.

From The Century Cyclopedia of Names 1895 Joseph Berington was born in Shropshire, 1746 and died at Buckland, Berks 1st December 1827. An English Roman Catholic priest and author. He wrote " A History of the Lives of Abeillard and Heloisa" 1787, and "A History of the Reign of Henry II" 1790, "Literary History of the Middle Ages" 1814 and numerous controversial works.

Hello, I am looking for relatives of my paternal grandmother, Emily Harriett Baston, born in 1888 in Buckland, Berkshire, England. She married my grandfather, Edward Bingham, here in Canada in 1909. They had one son, Edward born in Buckland around 1905. As I understand family history, she was a Clarke before becoming a Baston. She came out to Canada and she and Edward had three more sons. I am interested in Richard WIGMORE who was born in Bucklebury Berkshire in 1826. His parents were Richard WIGMORE and Sarah MAY who married there a year earlier. Both had been previously married. In the 1851 Census, Richard WIGMORE was a Wheelwrightliving with his wife Elizabeth (BULLOCK), infant daughter Sarah Ann and his widowed mother Sarah,at a hamlet called Biles's Green, Higher Common in the Parish of Bucklebury. A son Richard was born in Bucklebury in 1852 then they moved to Reading where two more daughters Elizabeth Mary and Harriet were born in 1856 and 1859.
