Gregory And Huse Connections
- White Waltham
Looking for the origins Thomas Gregory and Charlotte Bagley. Thomas was possibly born in Hughenden bucks and Charlotte in Kent although her family could come from Bucks also. There are strong Romany connections, indicated both by their trades and their childrens names and birth places. They are the parents of of Dorcas, who married Henry Huse and lived in White Waltham. Dorcas dies but left three daughters, Martha, Julia and Ann by a previous relationship living with Henry and his own children by her in White Waltham and later Littlewick Green. Can supply details of the descendents of Annie Gregory, one of these daughters. Two married under the name of Huse even though their birth certificates name them as Gregorys and a third daughter had two children both of whom also were known as Huse.

Wylder Family from Wickham
- Wickham
Emily Wylder my Great Grandmother was born in Wickham on the 14 October 1872 daughter of William and Caroline nee Franklin at Wickham Welford. William was born at East Shefford son of John Whilder and Ann Shelton. Caroline Franklin was the Daughter of George Franklin and Hannah Westall born at Welford. I believe George Parents were Edward and Sarah Franklin. I have found bp at St Philip and Jacob in Bristol in 1804 for George Franklin as well as a marriage for his parents Edward Franklin and Sarah Mellish at St Andrews Clifton Bristol in 1799. I have found a burial of Edward Franklin at Welford in 1855 who was aged 87. I would like to find out what happened to Edward and Sarah Franklin after they left Bristol as George was their only child baptised in Bristol up to 1812.
I would like to make contact with other Wylder/Wilder Franklin and Westall researchers.
regards
Kim
