Bowyer Family Moss End - Warfield
I am looking for information on the Bowyer family, who farmed Moss End farm from about 1850 to the early 1900's. In particular I am looking for information on the parents and brothers and sisters of Thomas Bowyer, born in 1809. Hester was the first name of his mother, she was born in about 1785. His father's name was Henry Bowyer. In 1838, Thomas married Mary Rose, daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Rose. He was my great great-grandfather. His son John, my great grandfather married Emily Cock of Winkfield.

Mary Ann Excell,daughter of Richard, married William Cole June27th 1852. Excells were Brickmakers and Coles were Broom makers. Seymour Family - Welford
My grandfather, Charles Seymour, was born in either Welford or Wickham about 1861. His parents were Joseph Seymour (b Welford 1833/4) and Eliza Whilder (b Welford 1836/7). The 1851 Census shows Joseph as a servant employed at Wickham Farm. He and his family had moved to London by the 1871 Census. Any information about Joseph and his forebears in Berkshire would be grestly appreciated.

Fisher family - Welford
Does anybody have any information on the above family in this area. George Fisher was born in Welford in @ 1840, and is shown on the 1881 census to be a carter/farm servant in Welford. His son William Charles born @ 1866 was a farm servant in the same census in the same area, before he went to Lambourne as an agricultural labourer in 1891 census, and then in 1901 census was a PC in London. William Charles married Annie Sophia nee Brown in Great Shefford on 16.10.1889. They had 3 sons - Albert Frederick born in Eastbury 11.1.1891, Reginald Francis 22.2.1893 William Herbert 30.4.1896 and two daughters Mary Alice Maud born 7.12.1899 and Annie Alexandra May born 25.4.1902 all of whom were born in St. Pancras London. Youngest daughter married Harold George Brown 29.1.1924 who I think was her first cousin.
