My direct ancestor was Henry Bowsher (born Upper Lambourn 1834) and his parents were Abraham Bowsher (born Upper Lambourn 1810) and Hannah Carter (born Childrey 1815). I have traced what I think to be Henry's ancestry back several generations, but Iwould be interested to hear from anyone else who is interested in the Bowsher family from the Lambourn area. The family appears to have lived in Upper Lambourn, Lambourn and Lambourn Woodlands.
