My Grandfather was Caleb George Ford B 1846 he was s/o Hanson Ford B1818 and Elizabeth Cordery B1821 they married in Mattingly 1841 Elizabeth died abt 1857 and Hanson mar. Howes, Thomas - Sutton Courtenay
1838-1919. Father also called Thomas (d.1890). Lived in "Brook House" (now split & renamed East/West Wilden). "Howes Cottage", next door, is named after the family. Artist, wood-carver, furniture designer & maker, art teacher. One of the Thomases made stained glass: was it father or son? Son had 7 children, but I am his only great-Grandson. Can provide more info about him & have some family letters from WWI period which mention some local people.

George william Wheaton was born in berkshire in 1916 we do not know his ancestry. Marguerite Smith was the daughter of John smith and Elizabeth Mary Sheeran. Both sides of these families are beleved to have originated from belfast. one side being catholic.We know that John Smith joined the canadian expeditionary soldiers and that elizabeth was there with him and came home with a couple of children on her own . They also had a son who we think was adopted out in Canada? possibly? any info mation greatly received to the above families.

She married John Knott PAGE at St.John, Clerkenwell in 1830 according to Pallots. She then settledin Reading and had 4 children; Mary Ann 1831, Charles 1832, Sarah 1834, Mary Elizabeth 1836. They were all born in St.Mary's Butts? Children of a Coachmaker. > Has anyone any information about her parentage?
