She married John Knott PAGE at St.John, Clerkenwell in 1830 according to Pallots. She then settledin Reading and had 4 children; Mary Ann 1831, Charles 1832, Sarah 1834, Mary Elizabeth 1836. They were all born in St.Mary's Butts? Children of a Coachmaker. > Has anyone any information about her parentage?

Charles Edward Pembroke - Three Mile Cross
Looking for any family living in Three Mile Cross in 1920's-30's. My grandfather Charles Edward (b 14/5/1906) abandoned his wife and son, changed his name to Pembroke and ran off to be with my grandmother. He had a large family in Three Mile Cross at least 4 other brothers one of whom changed his age to serve in WWI and who then died in The Somme. He was the son of a farmer and could remember great detail about the village and his home but never gave us enough details to help us find his home. We never found out the whole truth about his life until he died 10 years ago at which point my grandmother had to admit to what had happened. If anyone can shed any light on this situation I would be eternally grateful as otherwise I have little or no chance of ever letting my father find out more about his family.

My great-grandfather Richard Roake was a huntsman (I believe he was Master of Foxhounds) and manager of Kennels in Bath Road Tilehurst between 1850 and 1891. His wife was Mary, and his children were, Annie,(My Grandmother,who married John Blandy Roe of Whitchurch),Harry.Frank,Kate, Nellie,Mabel,(Who died in early childhood),Edmund and Reginald. My father believed that 2 of the sons moved North (probably Northamptonshire where their mother was born), and ran kennels there. He believed that they later went into the hotel business.
