I believe that my grt grt grandfather Edwin Wheeler, son of Thomas and Mary, was born 19 July 1815 and christened in the Ebenezer Wesleyan Church, Hungerford, on 15 Oct 1815. James Wheeler, (his brother?) was born to Thomas and Mary, on 30 March 1818, and christened in the same church on 26 Oct 1818. Can anyone help me to find out more about this family, please? Or where I can get copies of the births or christenings?

Henry PHILLIPS - Hungerford
Looking for details/history of Henry PHILLIPS. All I know about Henry is that: - he was baptised at Hungerford on 14th August 1803, the son of a John PHILLIPS, a shoemaker, and Ann RACKBORN - he was an ag lab - he married Martha DIXON at Shalbourne on 13 December 1832. Henry and Martha had at least four children: Henry John (1834), Charles (1835) James (1838) and Francis (1841). I am descended from James and his wife Jane BARNES (born at Chilton Foliat in 1839). Martha was buried at Shalbourne on 17th June 1844 and Henry remarried on 19th October 1846. His second wife was Elizabeth DEACON and they had several children. Does anyone recognise Henry or any of these other people, pls?

Ann RACKBORN - Hungerford
Looking for information on Ann RACKBORN. I have no idea where she was born or baptised nor where she married her husband, John PHILLIPS. However in the early 1800s they were living in Hungerford and had three children baptised in the parish: Henry (b1803), Fanny (b1806) and Mary (b1809). Her maiden name is given in the baptism entry for Mary. The name RACKBORN appears to be an extremely rare and perhaps incorrect spelling, but others which are more commonly found are various combinations of Red-and Rad- and -born, -burn and -bone. Does anyone recognise Ann?

George Baster born 1778 at Newbury married Lucy Dreweatt daughter of Thomas Dreweatt (1755 Chievely-1838) and Mary Lawrence. They had no children. Mary Lawrence had 2 brothers: 1: THOMAS LAWRENCE born 1768 Thatcham who married SUSANNAH FRANCKLIN in 1810 at Thatcham and 2: NOAH LAWRENCE (1768-1816) who married a different LUCY DREWEATT in 1795 at Wickham, Berkshire. Elizabeth ? married to Samuel Richardson - Hurst
Needing to know Elizabeth's surname married to Samuel Richardson of Rockbourne, Hants. She was born about 1791 and they were in 1841 living at the Alderholt Mill at Alderholt, Dorset. Samuel was born about 1781 and appears to be a miller. They were still there in 1851 and a Jane Bush aged 19 was living with them.

COLLIS family - Hurst
The COLLIS family had long lived in Hurst - George and Elizabeth Mary (nee CHAPLIN) had seven children baptised at St Nicholas - George Thomas, Henry, Alfred, John, Edmund, Elizabeth Mary and Emily. Emily and her mother died in 1838, as well as George's father Thomas COLLIS. Henry, Alfred and Edmund all migrated to Australia. George Thomas was a blacksmith and inherited the estate of Thomas BRENT. John married Dorothy HATCHAMN, moved to Esher Surrey and was Record Keeper to the Bishop of London for more than 40 years. Earlier COLLIS family were baptised in Waltham St Lawrence, but maybe the NASH family lived in Hurst longer. Would love to hear from any connections.

COLLIS Francis Brent and Mary Isabel - Hurst
Francis Brent COLLIS and Mary Isabel COLLIS were the children of George Thomas COLLIS and Mary Ann SOUNDY, both were born and baptised in Hurst. After George died, both children and their mother moved to Reading and both married in the 1890s. Francis married in 1892 and died in 1894 and was buried at Hurst. Mary Isabel married in 1893, to GODDDARD, perhaps. Would love to contact any descendents.

THATCHER Louisa Harriet - Hurst
I am looking for descendants of my grandmother, Louisa Hariet Thatcher who was born in Dunt Lane, Hurst, Berkshire in 1871 and married Walter Hitchman who I think came from London. Her parents were William, born 1832 and Harriet, born 1845. Louisa and Walter had 7 daughters and lived in the borough of Islington, north London. Louisa died in January 1923 aged 52. I would love to hear from anyone who is a descendant of Louisa. Did she have any brothers or sisters?

James Radbourne born 1874 - Inkpen
Believe he was born in 1874 but this information was got from an Argentinian website. His father was called Henry and his mother Jane. His mothers maiden name was possibly Franklyn. I have managed to find christening details of 9 of his sisters but not for him or any other siblings. Their births range from 1863 - 1883.The names are Jane, Kate, Charlotte, Edith, Annie, Anne, Elisabeth, Ellen and Eliza Anne. James Radbourne went on to have an eventful life but we need to trace back.

In researching my ancestors, The Ball family I have found parents to my very great grandmother, Emma Ball, William and Elizabeth Ball, who were married in Kingston Lisle in 1809. George Ball was present at Emma's wedding in 1849. However William remarried at the ripe old age of 80 to a louisa Morris. William H morris was a witness to the marriage. William's mother was buried at Poynings (outer Brighton) in 1832 whilst he was buried beside her in 1874. Daniel Kimber and Sarah Moody married at Kintbury church but left some time after the 1851 census foolowing the birth of a dau(Olive), though Daniell's relatives remained ther until after 1881. The other of Daniel and Sarah's two children known to me was born in the Slough area. After Sarah's death, Danial and his family moved to Croydon, SRY.
