Stanbridges / Stonebridges

Several members of the Stanbridge, later becoming Stonebridge family lived here, probably from the time that Nicholas Stanbridge inherited his father's farm in Stagsden (probably 1640 ish) till Lewis Stanbridge and his wife Sarah (nee Clark) moved toSutton in 1760s. I have several wills which link the Stagsden family to this line.

Thomas King of Dunton
- Dunton
I'm looking for a Thomas King that was born in 1698 and died there in 1770; buried 31 Jan 1770 at Dunton, Bedfordshire.
He married a girl called Sarah, last name unknown circa 1725 and she was born 1704, died 1767 and was buried in Dunton 16 Aug 1767.
The only child I have listed is Thomas King born 7 June 1733 in Dunton and died in Little Gransden, Cambridge, England 27 Aug 1790.
He married Sarah Townsend in 1758 in Cambridgeshire.
I need to know who Thomas Kings children and parents (and descendants) are and the maiden name of his wife. Someone alleged on their genealogy site that this line of Kings goes way back to John King, Bishop of London so I need to prove as such.

Kettley sisters from South Africa
- Eversholt
Mary Jane KETTLEY of SIMONSTOWN, CAPE OF GOOD HOPE, married Joseph SMART in South Africa, but they moved back to Bedfordshire before 1871 and then to St Pancras, London, where they are still living in 1901. My interest is in the sister of Mary Jane, who is Maria Ellen Kettley, also from Simonstown, Cape of Good Hope, who marries the cousin of my great great grandfather. He was known as John Bonner at his birth, but, on discovering that his father was really George Copeland and already married, John first took his mother's name, ROLLINSON, then reverted to BONNER and, finally became COPELAND, after his father had re-married his mother, following the death of his first wife. John Copeland and Maria Ellen Kettley have three children: Florence Charlotte Copeland, born 1875 in Alverstoke, Hampshire, John Bonner Copeland, born in 1878 in Chesterfield and Norman Copeland, born in 1886 in Belper. Does anyone know when they married and when Maria Ellen left South Africa. Did they have any other siblings?

Rennocks family
- Everton
I am researching the family tree of my great grandmother who lived in the area sometime between 1891 and 1911.
On the 1901 Census, my Grandmother Annie Rennocks (Widow of William Rennocks) is shown as living with her children and stepson at "Port Mahon Farm"
John Rennocks (her cousin ?) is shown as living with his family at Port Mahon cottage.
Any family details, including dates of occupancy and other family conenections would be very welcome.
Also, details of history and any photos of Port Mahon Farm and whether the Great Northern Railway ran accross, adjacent to, or near to this farm.
I am particularly interested in the possible railway connection as my Grandfather Albert Thomas Rennocks (age 14 in 1901) became a signalman for 50 years, and the next entry in the 1901 Census (after Port Mahon Farm) shows one "Arthur Hook" located at "The Railway (GNR) Signal Box" and he may well have influenced my Grandfather (shown as an "ordinary agricultural worker) to leave the farm and work on the railway?
Any history or photographs of this signal Box welcome
Martin
