My maternal family are the WRIGHT'S from Clifton, Bedfordshire. They were market gardeners, although towards the end of the 19th Century family members did branch out to become publicans, taxidermist, etc. but my grandfather George remained a ardent gardener; he married Ethel Maud Twelftree in Clifton in 1911. The family once owned the field where the Clifton Statty used to be held but my great grandmother sold it after her husband's death. Any information would be gratefully received.

George's father William HARRIS md 1773 Ann AUSTIN in North Crawley, children George, William, John, Thomas, Lydia, Mary. I want to find where William's father John HARRIS Md Sarah (?) abt 1747 (Riseley, Beds or?) and was born abt 1724 and any other children(?). Can you help? I'm in England in East Yorkshire for a few more months.
