Looking for Thomas Studds born 1792/96 and possible brothers Robert and Barnet. Thomas married Mary Wells 1818 at Bath, Robert married Emma or Mary Beasley 1814 and Barnet married Sarah Fower 1813. I do not know the birth place but as a lot of Studds's seem to come from Bedford I am hoping some one will have come across them.

My great great grandparents John and Mary GUY lived in Woburn between 1800 and 1857. John (born 1768 in Woburn) was the son of William and Hannah Guy. I cannot find any record of William Guy marrying Hannah, nor of John Guy marrying Mary. These marriages may not have taken place in Beds. Anyone able to help?

William born 1782 (upholsterer), and his wife Ann (nee White) and their younger son William Ralph born 1810, all disappear from the records in Woburn some time after 1810. The elder son John Henley (tailor) turns up in Brighton sometime before 1836 when he was accepted into the Salem Chapel as a member. Where were all the family in this 26-years gap - and how did John come to be in Brighton ?

Woburn Hospital WW1 - Woburn
In Woburn parish church, near where I live, there is a memorial to soldiers, nurses and doctors who died at the hospital set up in Woburn by the Duchess of Bedford in WW1.
