Souldrop history
- Souldrop
I'm looking into the history of Souldrop. I have the basics but would like to know more about who owned the farms in the village. The 1901 census shows several cottages owned by the Goosey family and my grandmother used to talk of a Goosey Lodge but the only one I know is in Wymington a few miles away. I'm trying to date my grans cottage but each census the name of it seems to change. It's very confusing and there doesn't seem to be a local historian in the area. I've tried BFHS but had no reply and the archive site doesnt have what I want.
